EPSILON Hose Couplings
For your critical onshore and offshore chemical transfer
applications, the EPSILON coupling offers the ideal solution
for the safe connection and disconnection of flexible hoses.
The modular EPSILON design dramatically reduces worker
exposure to chemicals and release of chemicals into the
environment.
Technology For The Real World, of Eliminating Spills.
The EPSILON coupling utilizes a convex ball valve nested in a concave ball valve, to virtually eliminate any cavity between the mating half's. These positive shut-off ball valves, and the absense of a cavity between them, prevent chemical loss when the coupling is disconnected. Each half is an independently operated, positve shut-off ball valve that is controlled by manually rotating the valve handles. The two mating half's are connected by aligning the lugged flange interfaces and connected with a simple "push and quarter turn".
Designed into the EPSILON coupling is 5 independent and redundant mechanical interlocks. They require deliberate sequential action by users, thereby eliminating unintentional spills and catastrophic chemical releases that threated worker safety and the environment.

How Do You Operate The EPSILON Coupling?
TO OPEN:
First open the Hose half/coupler (C).
1. To open, push in on the hub pin (red arrow a) and
2. Turn the handle (1) a quarter turn.
Then open the Adapter half (A).
3. Push in on the hub pin (red arrow b) and
4. Turn the handle (2) a quarter turn.
TO CLOSE:
First close the Adapter half (A).
1. To close, push in on the hub pin (red arrow b) and
2. Turn the handle (2) a quarter turn.
Then close the Hose half/coupler (C).
3. Push in on the hub pin (red arrow a) and
4. Turn the handle (1) a quarter turn.

EPSILON Product Endorsement:
"Rare is the day that a new product impresses me to the point that I will buy it just to enable me to share it with others, as was the case with Epsilon dry-disconnect hose coupling". Mr. Monte Goodner, W-Industries (One of the Worlds leading suppliers of Offshore Chemical Injection and Hydraulic Power Systems).
